ESD foam packaging
Foam packaging consists of ready-made parts that you simply insert: bags made of pink PE foam in which sensitive parts lie softly, and small hard discs as cushioning and spacer elements. The bags are available in 170 x 250 and 180 x 250 mm, the discs in 12 and 19 mm.
The bags protect scratch-sensitive parts and are stated as dissipative. You will find foam as sheet material for cutting to size under ESD foam for containers, and the complete packaging selection in ESD packaging and shipping.

Bags or discs?
Foam bags
The bag holds one part and cushions it all round. One version does not need adhesive strips and is quick to fill.
Discs
Discs are small, hard, pink rounds. They keep parts apart or absorb impacts at specific points.
Difference from container foam
The items on this page are intended for shipping or packing individual parts. Cut-to-size pieces for containers and cases belong to ESD foam.

Are the foam bags dissipative?
The bags are described in the product text as dissipative. They do not shield.
Can I cut the discs to size?
The discs are ready-formed, in 12 and 19 mm. For cutting to size, foam sheet material is more suitable.
