The size S ESD partition with dissipative polycarbonate pane divides workstations in the EPA without charges remaining on the pane. Dimensions: 750 x 750 mm.
Description
The partition creates a transparent separation between ESD workstations that does not itself store any static charge.
Partitions made of ordinary plastic become charged through friction and air movement and can thus endanger sensitive components nearby. The pane of this partition is made of dissipative polycarbonate and releases charges in a controlled way when it is integrated into the grounding concept.
At 750 x 750 mm, size S is intended for compact workstations, test stations and narrow rows of tables. The transparent pane maintains visual contact between stations and lets light through.

Notes on use
A dissipative pane only works if charges can flow away via the frame or a grounding connection. Clean the surface with agents suitable for ESD materials so that no insulative layer forms. For setting up a protected area, IEC 61340-5-1 applies as the general framework.
