ESD wrist strap fabric in navy: grounding strap with 3 mm snap for personnel grounding at the ESD workstation.
The wrist strap connects the person to the grounding point via a coiled cord and dissipates body charge before it reaches components. It is the most important element of personal grounding at a fixed workstation, for example at the assembly station or the test bench.
The snap takes the coiled cord: make sure that the snap size of strap and cord match. 3, 7 and 10 mm are common. In this version the size is 3 mm.
The fabric version is intended for daily use at the ESD workstation.
