ESD lab coat "pro Line" in light blue: ESD protective clothing for assembly, testing and service in electrostatically protected areas (EPA).
In electronics manufacturing, everyday clothing charges up with normal movement. The ESD lab coat covers this clothing and dissipates the charge in a controlled way via conductive fibres in the fabric so that it does not jump uncontrolled onto circuit boards and assemblies. The prerequisite is that the person is grounded via wrist strap or heel grounder.
The fabric weighs 146 g/m² and consists of 63 % polyester, 33 % cotton, 4 % carbon fibre. The manufacturer states a dissipative resistance of 10⁵ to 10⁷ ohm. The coat is available in sizes XS to 5XL.
Because the coat can be pulled on over everyday clothing, it is also suitable for visitors, auditors and changing staff in the ESD area.
